In this case, we're also wrapping the T1 in HDSL via these H2TU-{C,R} cards (as would have been common back then) to keep the outside plant simple and the signal clean.

I've used plenty of these H2TU-R cards as a customer, but this labbing is a series of experiments in emulating the phone company side of things as they would have been at that time; touching equipment like the this TA850 channel bank and H2TU-C card is totally new for me. :bec_smile:
